Als hätte ich es vor ein paar Wochen nicht gesagt, dass das Thema Tarnung in der Photographie 2009 besonders viel besprochen wird, kommt Fred Lebain mit seinem Projekt “A Spring in New York” daher.
Plätze die er besonders gern hat, fotografierte er und ließ großformatige Poster davon drucken. Mit diesen bewaffnet stellte er sich an die Stellen an den er Fotos machte und ließ sich im Kontext fotografieren.
Das Ergebnis könnte surrealer nicht sein. Auf einigen Fotos deutet nur ein Fuß zuviel, oder ein Schatten zu wenig darauf hin, das da etwas nicht stimmt. Großartige Arbeit!
